Please help, flew in last night, Expedia got me a room in china town. Was almost mugged and robbed 15 minutes here. Me and my girl need a new hotel location now. Should we go to the loop? Magnificent mile? Thank you

Wife & I stayed at the Hilton on LS 4 different times. Expensive but worth it. Plus Grant Park across street. 19 miles to Wrigley.

Yeah I just looked and I'm a bit surprised. Heck, the IC on the mag mile had a room at like $175.

There's a little bit more to do on the weekend but in terms of safety it's basically the same. Either way is just as easy to get to the show.

Thanks , just booked Comfort Suites on Michigan ave near Wacker. Cost me another $600 but at least I can go outside! Thanks everyone

Happened the same to me. Booked airbnb in Pilsen...was ok until shooting happened just around the corner. Booked Inn of Chicago in river north the next day for extra €1800 for 10 days. Felt shitty for a day, but safety first...oh and btw, today's the day
