Flying in to Chicago for Monday - Need Advice

Hey guys. Flying from LA to Chicago for the second show. I have 10C pit tickets. I'd like a good spot and I would also like to score some merch. (I was in NYC and showed up on one of the nights that the pop up shop closed early last year) So, my questions are these:

1) what time would you recommend I arrive to Wrigley on Monday? I've never bought pit for PJ. Do they assign numbers and let you go for the day or do we have to stay on line?
2) any tips on the merchandise stands. I'd like a couple t shirts and a couple posters. I'm worried about the poachers who buy stacks and sell online cleaning them out.

Any advice would be appreciated.

    Wrigley has a bunch of merchandise inside the stadium after gates open with shorter lines. They will be stocked with everything. So if the pop up shop run out the shop in the park will have them
