Does anyone recall how much the refills were via Jerry's for the 24x36? They were packs of 5. Just curious...

I want to say like $50-$70? Which IMO is a bit steep, however they always have discount codes going on.

I wonder what was wrong with the originals.

Honestly my portfolio from them is terrible. Both of the zippers ripped off with ease. The binder clips/circles/whatever they're called that hold the page don't close together all the way. The refill pages get caught and rip and do not even fit properly with the binder clips.
yeah. you do have a point. I rarely open mine unless I am adding new posters. I guess as storage it's ok, but as a portfolio it is pretty terrible.
and the price is pretty $$$$$$$$$.
For anyone that has a 24x36 portfolio (where you can turn the pages), do you ever bend the print or are fearful of doing so? My wife and I on the fence about waiting until March for the Jerry's 24x36 but also considering buying a portfolio and also purchasing sleeves or holders and storing posters there. Only down side is it is not like a "book" where you can turn pages and see the print.

Thanks for any advice. And thanks for the feedback above
I've had no problems at all with mine. I also have the 24" x 36".
I also have 18" x 24" sleeves in front of the 24 x 36. They also fit the rings but a little snug.
I too will pull it out about once a month just to check them out or whenever someone shows signs of interest.

I liked the Jerrys 24 x 36, never damaged the prints. Only issue I ever had with it was sometimes the binder rings would randomly come open when they were not meant too. Duty was also a killer on shipping for the portfolio and refills but that's not Jerrys fault.

Need to read the entire post.
What this is about is many of us have the Jerry"s 24 x 36, but the refills are no longer available.

Yeah I was responding more so to the person on the fence about buying / damaging prints via turning the pages, not the frustrating supply issues, which I certainly sympathize with.

i have found several loose 24 X 36 sleeves, but nothing with the binder ring holes. There was one place that has them, but I am hesitant as I do not know if it is on the up an up. Around 10 bucks per sleeve is not a risk I wanna take.

If you have the full size 24" x 36" portfolio the 18" x 24" will also fit in there. Many of the posters come in this size.
You can get those refills here
I also found portfolio without the ring binders in 24" x 36" here
Still no 24" x 36" ring style refills anywhere. If I had a company that could make these......

Looks like I'm buying some 18X24's. Can't hold out any longer. Thanks for the info.

I've had a 24x36 for a decade. The bindings suck now and don't close completely. I may get a flat file once I clear some room. If I do, I'll offer all the non ripped pages up here for the cost of shipping.

I ordered a 24 by 36 portfolio from Jerry's Arb. Saturday. It comes with 5 pages. I ordered 7 refills (5 pages per refill). The portfolio was $189 and each refill (5 pages per refill) was $59 each. I called the NJ directly so I do not have a link or anything. I paid extra for shipping. My total for all of the above (with some 30% coupon a guy posted on PJ Poster Community on FB) was $488.53.

Glad I am FINALLY getting some 24 x 36 refills. We mat and frame all our concert posters so we needed a larger portfolio.

    Cheers!

Which one did you order? I don't see them anywhere.
You haven't gotten the refills yet?
It was my understanding that they weren't even available from the mfg.
It'll be interesting to see if and when you do get them. Keep us posted.

My apologies we do not currently carry those refills or the cases, those items have been discontinued due too quality issues with the cases and refills. Our higher ups are currently looking for a new manufacturer, however; they haven't found any manufacturer yet that can meet their quality demands.

^^I got the same message as Dirty Tom when I emailed them a few days ago. @dmbkc let us know if you actually receive your sleeves. Or you may actually want to call Jerrys to confirm you will be receiving it, otherwise you may end up getting the porfolio with just 5 sleeves, then in the same boat as the rest of us!

I will let you know for sure. I ordered Saturday and later got a call confirming my mailing address, I confirmed with Mary that they were 24 x 36 several times to the point she said she was reading the cover of the portfolio that said 24 x 36 (same with refills). I called Jerrys @ 973-669-0995. That is where I placed my order. FYI.

I will post when I get it - they said UPS Ground so I assume later this week.

I received the 24x36 and will attach photos now. I have a smaller portfolio next to it for our unmatted posters for comparison. Our posters in the 24x36 are matted but do not take up the entire 24x36 as you will see but they were too large to fit in any other portfolio. So far it looks very durable, has a handle and shoulder strap. The binders seem very strong as it took some force to open them. It came with 5 pages and we added 35 pages. All 40 pages it just fine.

That's the same one most of us have.
The 18" x 24" refills also fit those rings.

Yeah, I expressed my outrage and represented the tens of thousands of PJ fans that now have poster tubes everywhere. He told me they had to cancel a bunch of orders last week because they didn't have any. I asked "well how the hell am I getting them" and he said he walked in the back and two packs were there. Unreal.

I know a lot of people have been looking for a 24x36 portfolio, and I discovered that Bags Unlimited makes presentation books, but, unfortunately, not in that size. I called a couple of days ago to see if this is a product that they would a) custom make, or b) start producing if there were enough people interested. I told them that there were a lot of people that would be interested in purchasing this product. Option A wasn't feasible, but I was told that if there was a need that wasn't being met, there was a likelihood that a product could be made. I was asked to send any information that would be helpful for their assessment. I have started a Google Sheet that people can put their name on. I have sent the link to Bags Unlimited so they can monitor it too, along with the link to this thread. Not sure anything will come of this, but here's hoping. I'm assuming that the more interest shown, the more likely they are to start making a product. The link is below. If anyone has any better ideas of how to get them the info, please share.
