Oh hell, it had better be legit, I ORDERED IT!!! Got the email confirmation too. I was wondering the same thing about 10 club, maybe Jeff wanted to keep it separate from PJ stuff, or maybe this isn't a sticky because 10 club doesn't want us ordering this from Lou, now that I think of it...does seem a little strange that this wouldn't be on the PJ site main page. I'm telling you, behind every dark cloud, there's a thunderhead!

Hope this is for real, every time I've thought about it today, I've had a little anxiety attack, which is how I experience anticipation!!!

I'm sure it's legit. I have to wait until the end of the month to order it anyway, but I will be ordering it :)

edit: also, I know that I've already said this, but I though the album was called "aTONEment" not just TONE. Something about this just doesn't seem right.

Yes, I said that in my first post too, my thinking is that maybe, upon reflection, Jeffy realized that saying the name of the album wasn't the same as the way it looks when spelled out, the ament/tone thing would be lost, so you'd get a lot of buh duh interviewers asking him what he has to atone for! Maybe the finished cover art will be jeff aTONEment, something like that? See, I get all creative just thinking about him...

I'm hoping Lou doesn't bill till they ship, my MC doesn't close for the month until Friday :)

i just want to hear more matt vocals at some point!

I let my dad listen to the harrybu mccage cd and this was what he had to say about Matt: "Its amazing how he good he is at jazz but at the same time how many better jazz drummers there are than him."

thats probably a better way of putting it than i did... its not a shot at matt... i was pleasantly surprised by it... not that its really that great of a stretch considering the unusual time signature and complexity he specializes in... i just really shouldnt compare him to jazz greats

That's what struck me when I saw it on Lou's newsletter they send out. I did a quick search here, and didn't see anything on it. Figured it would have been posted here first. Could be an indie store exclusive, like Easy Street.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

It is an Indie Store Exclusive like the Live At Easy Street. 10club will probably have it but only other place to get it is from your local indie retailer. I got the solicitation on the album about a week ago from Junketboy, the distributor of all Indie Store Exclusives, and the only info they gave was what is posted. I'll try and get more from them today and post what I get.

And to answer your question, our online store charges you when you place the order rather than when it ships. That's the one draw back to the cart system we use. Sorry about that.

It's nice of you to respond; glad Jeff is supporting Indie record stores, and I am glad I am too, despite the terrible financial hole in which you've cast me by billing on order rather than shipment!!

And I'm still on the cheap food regime to cover the cost of my Ames poster and the archival framing...these Ament boys are bleeding me dry!! :D

I have to say I'm really excited about this. Can't wait to listen to this album!

    BUMP!!

Not for nothing, but if Eddie, who I love dearly, breaks wind, it goes up on the main page and/or a sticky, but I don't get this, JEFF'S SOLO ALBUM, and we're all playing ping pong to keep this up top.

Nope, I don't get it, nope, nope, nope... :)

Thanks for the update Greaser. I'll be up there to pick it up in Sept. It's good to still have a local indie retailer!
