you can wait a week and you'll see all the prices drop!alizmi said:So I got shut out of lottery tickets for Fenway...thats cool. I couldn't manage to get tickets on the forum...thats also cool. Friends got me the baseball PJ pin...that was VERY Cool. But when I go onto ebay and see if I can get (in my opinion the best PJ poster ever made, "The Catch" by Steve Thomas) a poster and see them going for $200, $300 even $500 bucks...THATS NOT COOL! So I then say F U Ebay and will simply go without. Not complaining (well yes I am I guess) and I get trying to make a buck but c'mon! Oh well...whats a boy to do...

yeah not ebays fault at all. EBay is not the evil entity everyone makes it out to be. It actually provides an avenue to obtain so many things that otherwise you wouldn't have the opportunity to. Whether it's PJ related or anything else you may want.0

Efff ForceofNature. The epitome of everything we hate.0

I don't mind selling things for a profit that were purchased at the venue. Maybe not so much selling to those that were in line and missed out because they were there and made some effort, but if you weren't in Boston to actual buy in person than I don't think you should have any expectation at all to buy it at original cost in the secondary market.0

I've said the same thing for years. I have acquired things through eBay I wouldn't have otherwise - Evil Goat winter hat for like 35 dollars years ago. It's simple - if you don't like the price don't pay it (I have never sold anything through eBay - only bought things).Gvn2fly said:yeah not ebays fault at all. Flippers suck but nothing we can do except don't buy immediately and let things cool down.....
If you have a chance to make life better for others, and fail to do so, you are wasting your time on this earth.

Hey, OP ... still a chance that poster will end up in the 10C store on a drop there for $35. The Wrigley '13 posters wound up there – albeit for super, super quickly. So you had to be ready to pounce immediately, and I suspect that will be the case with Steve Thomas Fenway. But I'm saying you still may have a chance to get it at MSRP.
