Guess what happened to the Christian leader who said God sends natural disasters to punish gays?

Haha, while I don't normally wish bad things on people, it is these types of stories that bring a smile to my face.
Louisiana floods destroy home of Christian leader who says God sends natural disasters to punish gay people
Karma is a bitch. Or maybe he just got outed by god. Who knows? Either way, he's eating (or drinking) his words.

I am guessing that this event will only further encourage him. He didn't say natural disasters only affect gays. They are just the reason God sends them. So I guess he will be happy now, since God directly punished the gays in his very own community. He'll probably think that this flood that destroyed his home was actually God doing him a favour. God was saving his children from the gays/pedophiles who darken his own doorstep. He is blessed! That's how religious freaks generally reconcile bad shit that happens, right?
BTW, the LA floods are hardly "near biblical proportions". Err, the biblical floods killed everything and everyone on Earth besides some weirdos in a big boat and two of each animal. I don't think a few feet of water on the roadways and overflowing rivers count as biblical, lol.
He has also claimed homosexuality is incompatible with evolution and has likened it to a drug or alcohol addiction.
I wonder if religion is incompatible with evolution and will soon be weeded out?
But to hell with people like that. And you what's cool? Just in the last week two wonderful things happened. Saturday I met a new bookstore customer and as she was getting ready to leave she introduced me to her fiance, another woman and said it so naturally and straightforward. Not very many years ago, a stranger would not say this in public. And then just today a guy came into the store who we had met briefly last month. He had a friend with him who he introduced as his fiance, another man, again very naturally and easily. These are good, happy people living their lives the way they want to. I'm happy for them all and so glad gays can come out and be themselves. Right on, I say.

Up to you to decide which way you want to tempt it.

What is it with corrupt politicians with same names of famous and better people like Perkins, Joe Walsh and Steve King?
