Does 10club ever give lawn tickets?

When PJ plays an amphitheater show (Great Woods, Camden, etc.) are 10club tickets ever lawn seats (even for high numbers)?

For PJ20 at Alpine Valley, 10C did one night reserved seating, one night lawn in order to accommodate more people with at least one night in seats. I believe the also had two night GA lawn packages.
Not sure of other ampitheatres or instances.

I remember going to Detroit 1 in 2003 and, when we picked up our 10c tickets, they gave us Detroit 2 lawn seats for free.

They seem to be opposed to playing outdoors anymore unless it is a festival or special occasion. I last saw them in an amphitheater in Nobleville in 2010 (not counting PJ20) and it was a great show, though the weather did cause a delay. My first 2 shows were amphitheater shows as well. I prefer the arenas personally, though I know a lot of people really enjoy a nice outside show in the summer.

Good question. I've pondered that myself. The only time I've seen them outside is at Made In America, which happened to be my first show. You think they will ever play an amphitheater again?

I don't mind amphitheaters but I do hate having a band come to this area and having the show be way out in Mansfield. No alternative but to drive and deal with the parking that sucks. Saw PJ at the Amp in Toronto back in 2009 and that was awesome. We could just walk along the lake from out hotel. So for me it depends on what amphitheater and where.

As for the OP's question...no, in the past you really haven't had to worry about your 10C seats being on the lawn. PJ20 was the exception and 10C made sure it was publicized.

Me too. Some of my favorites were Hartford meadows 96-98, and the 98-2003 Mansfield shows.

I always had fun once I got to Mansfield, but the drive in and the drive out sucked big time. And security could be pretty pesky. As long as you weren't advertising the fact that you were having some beers they generally left you alone. And I didn't start doing the VIP parking until the last year they played there, so I missed out on that, haha!

I do enjoy the tailgating scene, but give me a show at TD (or Fenway for that matter!) for when they come to Boston again. I hate spending more money than I have to, but it's just more convenient than going out to Mansfield.

Same deal with the Irvine shows in 2003, I believe - picked up our Ten Club tickets for the first show and were offered free lawn tickets for night 2. It was a nice surprise! :)
