What an amazing story. What amazes me most about this band and Ed in particular is how grounded and humble and down to earth they all appear to be even knowing their music and art carries so much weight and meaning for so many ppl. Cheers, Crystal and see you at Wrigley!!0

Wow.
Welcome to the boards! Thank you for sharing your, Joe's, & Elysia's stories here. Even if you were unable to speak a word at the time, it is great that you were able be in the moment and enjoy it.

I'm debating trying to change my flight from Saturday morning to Friday night, just to have the benefit of time in the event of any weather delays. Flying same day of show scares me. Can't miss this epic night!Ray J. T. said:

As a world traveler I also dislike arriving day of big events, etc,. Love giving myself space to breathe, settle, relax.CG57610 said:

Same here I am thinking about changing flight to Friday night, I don't know what the weather is going to be like here in south florida on my way out. We have a very early morning flight, arriving in Chicago at 10:00am! Waiting until tomorrow to see what the weather is going to be like for early Saturday morning.CG57610 said:

@Ray J. T. My flight lands at 9:14am Chicago time. Same exact dilemma. The change fee & fare difference to Friday night is $355 right now for me out of FLL. Probably should have done MIA for more flight options. Seems like the thunderstorms might be shifting up earlier since now weather.com also says Friday night thunderstorms in Chicago. Thinking positive thoughts!23 Shows & Counting0

I had to change my flight. I am now leaving Friday night as oppose to Saturday morning. According to the weather the Thunderstorms are supposed to be pretty severe early in the morning on Saturday and don't want to chance any delays. Good luck. At least the weather calls for clear skies in the evening before the show.CG57610 said:

A bump for Joe & Elysia. This weekend is for both of you.
Happy Birthday & 10 years cancer free to Elysia!
And Joe - we know you'll be with us as always, with the best view in the house - maybe even rockin' on stage with the guys
Look for us on the field at Wrigley with our EB shirts!23 Shows & Counting0 -
