I saw in the food thread that you're bringing some (nice-looking) empanadas to your parents today. Do they indulge in the green as well? My mom refuses to try CBD for her arthritis, and the lack of logic behind that escapes me.

There is no logic involved. It's pure deep seated stigma at work.My parents are both open minded about it now that it's legal, and noth could benefit. They just don't seem overly enthusiastic enough to actually go buy the product. Just stuck in their ways a bit I think. But I did take my mom to a shop and she spoke with someone there about her options at length and took his card. She seems to be holding out for CBD concentrates or something for her essential tremors, which aren't yet on the market but should be soonish. My dad also really needs CBD for bad arthritis in his hands... I think he's just being lazy or stubborn or something. He has nothing against trying it, but just isn't bothering. Procrastination I guess. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -

As to that damned close-mindedness or can't-be-bothered-with-it-ism, I've literally offered my mom some of mine when she visits and she won't even try it. She'd rather stick with a fuckload of Tylenol and pain pills every day and night. It's out there, available and legal. She won't do it; I give up!0 -
