Does anyone know if there is a pre-party in Chicago on Friday August 19th?

    I was wondering the same thing as last time they played Wrigley PJ had a ticket drawing for a rooftop party and we listened to sound check. It was awesome! I haven't seen anything for this time around. If someone has something organized or knows where the Wishlist Foundation will be Friday please let us know.

    Since the last PJ show in 2013, Wrigley has been remodeled, added large outfield display boards, and the Cubs ownership has bought many surrounding rooftops to better control the overall neighborhood and gameday experience (Article Link). I doubt they'll have a rooftop party. Thought I saw posted elsewhere a Wishlist Foundation event at Slugger's (nearby bar).

    Thank you! Looking forward to my first Wrigley show. Saw the Mex City show last year and had a blast at a pre-party there. Hoping for a similarly great PJ experience in Chicago.

    Hi Hi! Coming in from L.A. Looks like we'll be checking out Sluggers and researching some rooftop bars for pre-show festivities. Any suggestions on where to go AFTER the show?

    Everything in the general vicinity of Wrigley will be hoppin. Murphys, Irish Oak, Sluggers, Cubby Bear will all be filled with PJ fans after the show. Not to mention its a Saturday night and even the non-concert goers will be out in full force.

    Hey hill1426. Also coming from LA on Thurs 8/18. Staying with a friend who lives just a few blocks from Wrigley/Sluggers. Roof top pre-show with some great PJ fans sounds like fun to me. Bringing some merch in hopes of a trade or two. ;)

    Sheffield's and the Dark Horse Tavern are also excellent spots to pre-party. Good crowds last time around, for sure. Just a little further south of Wrigley.

    Note that for Phish at Wrigley this summer, GA/Field tickets were required to enter the stadium via the outfield/bleacher entrance. If the same is true for PJ, Murphy's Bleachers is a good spot with indoor/outdoor spaces right outside that gate.

    Sluggers website says the 20th and 22nd (makes sense for days of the shows). Anyone know of anything going on Friday?
