Dream TOTD set list?

The tour is coming...what set list would you craft for a full length TOTD show? Get creative with it! Doesn't necessarily have to be too "realistic". Hell, my dream is a couple Audioslave covers. To each their own!

  • Not going to list out my entire ideal setlist, but basically:
    The album in its entirety
Some PJ, really would like to hear Betterman and Release,
Some Soundgarden, really really want to hear Outshined specifically
Some kick ass covers that aren't typically played (For example: Like PJ playing Draw The Line at Fenway night 1. That was an awesome touch that completely caught me off guard)

If they close out to Say Hello 2 Heaven I'll never go to a concert ever again because nothing will be better than that moment. (Okay maybe not never, but you get what I mean)
    Fenway Park, Boston 8/5/16
    MSG, New York 5/1/16

Agreed on all fronts! Thought about Release and/or Black but those are some pretty personal Eddie lyrics. Not sure if Chris would want to go there. But if Eddie shows up...

I understand this is a "dream setlist" thread, and it doesn't have to be realistic. But ... we're not really thinking they're going to play PJ songs at these shows, right? I assume they'll play basically the entire TOTD album plus a few choice covers and call it a night.

I don't think they'll play any Soundgarden or Pearl Jam songs, but yes, most dream setlist threads are pretty unrealistic, lol.

I tend to agree, but also don't think 1-2 tracks is too farfetched. I guess Cornell has covered Betterman & Footsteps on his own before. Although Footsteps is of course highly unlikely when they'll be playing Times of Trouble.

Thought about it, but decided I'd rather All Along the Watchtower if it were up to me haha...Whole Lotta Love though that would be epic, didn't know about that track.

River Of Deceit (Mad Season) is a likely candidate for a song, Cornell sang that with McCready at the Benoyara Hall show in 2015.

Most importantly, hope it's a long set! Luckily Cornell played a solid 30 when I saw him in June. And we all know what to expect from the others.
