What Springsteen and Dylan songs have been covered?

My friend is a big Bob Dylan and Sprinsgteen-fan. And when I turned 30 a few years back he gave me a Bob Dylan-album and said "you're grown up now, time to listen to some real music (instead of Pearl Jam)".

So I wanna return the favor when he turns 30 next month. But thinking about giving him a CD of Pearl Jam covering Bruce and Bob to show him how it should be done.

So what covers have they done through the years from these two artists?

Many of these have soundboard copies out there, but some do not. Some are also other artists featuring Ed. A good site to get most of these songs is...

    http://www.gremmie.net/signature-live/

    Dylan -
    Masters of War
    Forever Young
The Times They Are A Changing
    Girl From the North Country
    I Shall Be Released

    Bruce -
    My City of Ruins
    Growin Up
Darkness on the Edge of Town
    My Hometown
    No Surrender
    The Promised Land
Open All Night (The Lincoln '14 version is really great, IMO)

You may also want to include the song Jersey Girl. While written by Tom Waits, Bruce has notably covered and released his own version(s) as well. And it does sound like it could be a Bruce song. Anyways, the 5/18/10 version in Newark is what you want. The crowd even says the low "Bruce" at the end, but Ed corrects them.

Include Masters of War from Fenway. Easily the best version I've ever heard.

This year, Dylan finally hit me out of nowhere and I've become a HUGE fan. I wish Eddie would branch out a bit and tackle some other Dylan songs. Something like "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright" would sound great with Ed singing it in his deep baritone voice.
I'd kill to hear Ed cover stuff like:

    Just Like A Woman
    Shelter From The Storm
    She Belongs To Me
    Huck's Tune
    Oh, Sister
    Not Dark Yet

Come on Eddie, grow some balls :)

One cover I feel PJ doesn't really add anything too :)

Not even bringing out Ben from BoH helped :)

They need Neil for that one, like in 2004 :)

A smiley after every sentence. Don't know why. Maybe I'm happy today after my new boss said he lived in the states during the PJ craze of 92-93 and talked about how much he loves them. Thought he was a suit wearing stiff.

Yeah, thinking of including that one. Even though he or the E Street band have never done that one with Bruce?

So your friend insults you and you call that favour? Does he pick out your clothes?

Include Masters of War from Fenway. Easily the best version I've ever heard.

And likewise, the version at Wrigley was easily the best version I've heard. Include them both!
