Buddy just called me and said he has an extra fan club seat for Monday. Wife and I did Boston and I thought my PJ year was done. However wifey said "you should go to Chicago, it will be fun". So I'm now flying to Chicago Monday morning! Woot, woot! Can't wait.

Yeah, Fenway was perfect. I did find myself checking Chicago flights last night. I have two TOTD shows coming up and an Austin Texas trip coming up in October. I am good. Need to save some cash so I can pay ridiculous prices to fly somewhere warm in December.

wow i'm super jealous!! have fun bud. I've asked a few times if i could fly out for one night and my wife gives me the death stare each time. yeah not gonna happen. right now i'm sipping coffee and listening to vault 3 on vinyl...joe you need to get this!!! it's easily the best sounding vault.

Haha, thanks. Yeah I feel very fortunate. I think everything kind of lined out perfectly to make it more doable for the fam. I'm off from wrk until next Wednesday. It's my bday tomorrow and the fight was only 250 round trip from San Diego. Should be relatively cheap and quick trip:)

We have early dinner plans tonight and then my girlfriend is looking forward to watching the Tragically Hip webcast. I'll be following along with the setlist threads. Fully expect tonight and Monday to be special shows. Wish I was there but it was never in the plans so there really isn't any disappointment that I'm not.

I'm waiting a bit on vault 3 because I spent so much damn money on the PJ25 tour and vinyl this year... Hope my fiancé never sees these withdrawals hahaha
