I've never seen it leaked early. Little lame, but I'm not there anyway

He mentioned a song in the second encore by name. It's cool just .... keep that shit on the down low. We know where to click to find the entire setlist if we want it.

    I'm calling it now:

Wrigley 8-22 will be their longest show to date... both in terms of quantity of songs and time on stage.

Btw, if you're there, at the show, and checking the PearlJam message boards 10 songs in then you deserve to see it. If you're not there, who cares?

No worries man ... I just didn't expect to see a song listed by name is all. Although it's not a huge surprise, but still.

Both nights I've had people in front of and behind me with the setlist on their phones, checking it after every song and loudly hinting at what the next song would be. So ridiculously annoying.
  • I saw it on another board.. Someone with an in to someone at Fenway leaked a pic like 30 mins or more before it started.

I'm so happy I didn't read spoilers before either night. Especially because off he goes as song 2 and NAIS 3 totally shocked me.

I met a guy in a food line that told me it leaked. Before he could say another word, I cut him off and let him know I didn't want to know anything. I would have said the same to anyone next to me, I love the surprise of what they're going to play every time I see them and I wouldn't allow anyone to ruin that

I saw a post on FB that said the setlist was inside while killing a few minutes before the show. I promptly put my phone away scared to death to see it.

That's brutal. Can't imagine why someone would want to know the setlist prior to a concert they are attending. One of the best parts about PJ shows is the break in between songs because you never know what they're going to play next.

People were doing that on periscope as well. I had to turn the chat function off.

I am as sure the band has it in their mind to make Wrigley special as I am that they don't compare shows like we do. One has nothing to do with the other.

Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

im surprised the band allowed this kind of leak to happen..i know you cant control everyone but it seems like they are usually pretty good at keeping the setlist under wraps
  • chriszeechriszee Posts: 107
Why would the band care? If someone is really going to be mad because they planned on refreshing a message board for 3.5 hours to see each song as it comes, that person has a lot more to worry about. i MIGHT understand if they plan on hunkering down for the night and watching it via periscope or whatever but lets get serious guys, those that get in uproar about seeing the setlist and they arent even there...
  • The fellow next to me in B3 Friday night was looking at the setlist on his phone at about 715 and asked if I wanted to know. I asked if Of the Earth was on there and then politely declined to hear anymore. Haha
