DVD Touring Band / An American Tour

Have anyone alse seen the DVD "an american tour" that's just been released ?
I just got it in the mail today.....and as I thought it's the exact same thing as "touring band" released in 2000.....there is one difference....the sound and picture is lower quality and a logo in the upper left picture is annoying.

I don't know if it's been discussed or mentioned on the forum before.

But, don't bother purchasing it !!!!!
Everyday................is Pearl Jam Day.

Except Sundays, that's Ed day.

    I've been wondering what that was for a few weeks now. It comes out here on September 24th, the same day as Picture in a Frame.

    Why re-release something in inferior quality?? Doesn't make sense.

    I saw it in an indie record store the other day. I just assumed it was a bootleg of TB2K. Which is what it sounds like it is.

    Doesn't look like it's a rerelease, it's another company involved called "masterplan"...........

    Yeah I saw that on presale from Play.com a while ago. Thought it would be the same as the TB2K dvd.

    I'm assuming the band know about this. Might be worth emailing someone in the 10C to pass on thoughts and views. :)

    I'm sure the band wouldn't be too happy to know the quality is poor.

    wow! it's not even a straight re-release?
    and they actually sell it for more than TB2000 too!

    doesn't even sound legit to me..might fire off that email to 10c I've been meaning to do for ages..

    that's crazy! Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering what that was. I bet the 10 club and the rest of the pj crew are gonna be pissed about this. Sounds like this company could possibly get nailed for copyright infringement if the pj people wanted to take action! Again, thanks for the heads up!

    Maybe it should be a good idea to inform 10C about it, anyone know how I should do that .....?

    What's also weird with this DVD is that there are some strange song names (type-O). I can't remember which ones but usually before releasing a DVD the least you can do is to check if everything is written correctly.

    yeah, it happens all the time on Bootlegs, it's obnoxious. I just still can't believe a company bootlegged a pearl jam dvd that was already commercially released to retail world wide, and selling it for more money. If they are going to take that risk, they might as well have spelled the song names right. LOL :p

    I emailed them a couple of days ago, they responded but I don't know what will happen......if anything.

    Looks like they just read Ed's handwritten titles from the back of the TB2K for the titles on this, because the misspelled songs sort of do look like what the misspellings say they are, and DTE/Go is "Evolution"/"Don't Go" on the art.
