Totally agree that this was a GIANT FUCK YOU to the older hardcore fanbase who they feel complains about every little thing.  It's their way of saying, want to complain, well bitch about this while we're laughing right in your face! No other way for me to take that none!

  • The tease didn't bum me out too bad because someone in front of me had the set list zoomed into the second encore during the break. I turned away to not see anything more than "Dirty ...," so I wouldn't have even known "Dirty Water" was next to be performed. I thought they were legit attempting "Dirty Frank," couldn't lock it in and decided to perform the Standells cover song instead.
i have witnessed some performances. i have soaked up a lot of memories.

Yes what is it with people having the setlists on their phone during the show? I saw it in my section too. Who would actually WANT this? :i_dunno:

Never understood it either.  The element of surprise was always a staple of going to these shows....

I had someone close to me with the setlist and I introduced myself and said "PLEASE don't let me know what comes next"...he was totally cool and didn't, thank god. I LOVE not knowing what is coming next and all of a sudden hearing the first few notes and freaking out because it's what you had hoped to hear. Absolutely the best feeling!!

Kind of a Richard move I think.   I am so conflicted by this Ed tour.  Seeing him playing with another full band feels off even if it’s good you know.
