DONT SWEAT YOU CAN EASILY JUST DOWNLOAD THEM ALL :)

Hmmm people will recomend shows that they went to.

I suggest you look at the setlists and pick which one your like most
  • yes for sure I can download them all, but... I won it and I can have the original cd, so if someone thinks one of them is well recorded, or whatever, it helps.

    Thaaaaaank you!

Buffalo. Killer show. 3-CD's. Better than State College IMO.
  • State College was only okay. Fun show, but not the one to go for.

I'd support whoever voted for Indy; that was a good show, and I wasn't there. Another great one is Kansas City (Bonner Springs). They had to cut it short because of the downpour, and they sped through an intensely amazing set. The opening five tracks or so are essential.

Uniondale or Buffalo. I love both of those shows. Great version of Long Road to open Uniondale and a very powerful Know Your Rights. Can't go wrong with either show though.

I also love Philly 4/28/03 but I was also there for that one :D

Go with the one thats worth the most!!!!
Ones like Holmdel and Mexico shows (actually I dont think they are on the list), or a St Paul, Dnver or Sendai, tend to be the harder ones to find.....

like the others say they can all be downloaded, oh and there really isnt a poor one amoungst them

State college is the dogs nuts, but can be bought very cheaply

i completely agree. one of the goofiest moods i've heard ed in. he must've been trippin on something. plus they play SMILE :)

Ed, Bustin into the Jackson 5 song, callin all the early walker pussies during Ledbetter, not calling the boys fagets, Gimme Some Truth, Thin Air, SMILE, Sonic Reducer

So many strange songs mm mm mm. The setlist had a somewhat similar feel in 00. That boot is criminally underrated too.

    Lexington is amazing!

One of the strangest setlists I've ever seen..."Cropduster" is the opener...yes, it's not the one I would chose for that position, but Eddie's the boss ;)

Cropduster, Given To Fly, Corduroy, Last Exit, Save You, Daughter, Immortality, Small Town, Even Flow, 1/2 Full, Can't Keep, You Are, Do The Evolution, Blood, Thumbing My Way, Jeremy, Black - Encore 1 - I Am A Patriot, Go, Glorified G, Breath, Better Man, Alive - Encore 2 - Smile, Fuckin' Up, Yellow Ledbetter

Actually I heard it today for the first time ... before work today, I had to stop after Breath, so I'm really curious about the rest.

For my opinion, "Cropduster" doesn't work as an opener, although I love this song. "Daughter" is pretty interesting, there is no sung tag, just an instrumental improv, pretty groovy and cool. "Immortality" knocked me down so early in a set...wow...great jam at the end. Eddie strums a few silent punk-like-chords (power chords, fast and hammered) of "Small Town" ... but finally he plays the normal version. "Even Flow" has a pretty long solo, In "1/2 full" Eddie adds a few words (can't remember now) whithin his shouts in the final part. "Can't keep" in the middle of a show is pretty strange to hear for me...
nevermind.... Ed jokes about drinking and then offers an insight into the background of "Thumbing my way", says that it's about alcoholism.

I heard a lot of fantastic versions of "Black"...but this band is able to surprise me over and over again...seems to me that this version is one of the slowest and most relaxed ones ever...Eddie plays around with the vocals and the lyrics and Mike's solo is fantastic...it ends pretty noisy (sounds like static)...great, great, great...

"I am Patriot", the new version: goosebumps, goosebumps, goosebumps...Eddie's(?) guitar is not in tune at the lower strings which gives this version an interesting mood...after his long screaming explosion of "...freedoooom!" towards the end he finishes up with whispering the word a few times..."Go" rocks like every time and "Glorified G" is one of my favourite rarely played tunes... "Breath": Ed is angry about himself because he fucks up the lyrics in the first verses...the audience takes it :)

    (maybe) to be continued...
