Fenway concert

Just picked up my Ten Club tics and not even on the field. First fan club event at Fenway where I have even heard of this (the Wall, Jay Z, Phish). I am somewhere behind the 3rd base dug out. Cannot imagine a worse place to be distance wise. In Philly, with a larger Ten Club base, I felt you were either on the floor or side stage lower bowl. I'll be twice that far away. Sucks. Curious if others got the same treatment. Not a seniority issue is my guess knowing my own involvement.

That's ridiculous considering they "released" 10c tickets to others who lost out and the folks who got them are posting they're on the field. Would've thought 10c would take care of those who got in the lottery first then backfilled. Haven't picked mine up yet but hoping it's not the same situation.

Entirely lost out on the lottery. I got seats from the public sale that were 20 rows behind home plate and was happy to have those. Just got around the same area you're in via the code 10C sent out and am absolutely stoked! There are definitely wayyy worse spots to be in.

Just figured I'd inject some perspective into this thread. Folks are paying upwards of $400 a piece for similar seats on Stubhub right now. You got them at face value.

Good point...inside the park is better than not attending and/or paying insane Stubhub prices!

my guess is at least 460xxx...i joined in may of 2010 and Im stoked to be there with my 458xxx member number and my whole family because of that ticket drop and the kindness of strangers.
Those field boxes are FINE. They're certainly preferable to being outside.

They're great seats actually. Preferable to being in the C or back of B section unless you're 7 feet tall. And the sound is great. Scoped them out while I was at Dead and Co. Looking at pics online doesn't do this area justice. Much closer than you would think.

  • Anyone braved the merch lines? How early are people showing up? How are they NOT allowing people to line up before a certain time?

There was only one person before me last night at 6:30 for merchandise. And I was surprised to have B6 tickets, given that I had scored B7 with ticketmaster for Sunday, but as everybody says I am elated about being in the building, having travelled from Italy for it :)
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

That is very strange. What happened to all the seats in field sections A & B then? It's ok though, I missed out on fan club for the first time in 20 years and paid over $300/each for the very last seats in the right field box, row QQ. Fenway is an absolutely terrible place to have concerts, I don't think there are any good seats.
