Anti-trafficking bill-Boston show

As President Obama said, "democracy is not a spectator sport" and we must tell our politicians how to represent us.
Not sure if it's possible but it would be awesome if there could be a mention at the Fenway shows about S.2461 which is a Massachusetts state bill that would strengthen the current anti-trafficking law. We suspect that house leadership put the bill in the health care financing committee to kill it. It would be great if we could tell people to ask Rep. Sanchez of Jamaica Plain to discharge the bill out of his committee in favor so that it can move further down the process. So if you live in Jamaica Plain, ask him to move in favor of S.2461. https://malegislature.gov/Bills/189/Senate/S2461
If passed, the bill would allow trafficking victims to vacate misdemeanors related to being a trafficking victim (prostitution/ drug possession) which would allow them to have access to public housing and give them a better chance at a job. It would also train law enforcement about the issue so they know how to handle trafficking victims. It would also create a John school that would tackle the demand side of the issue so that there would be less an economic incentive to exploit women.
There is an excellent documentary about the issue of human trafficking in Seattle by an award winning photographer there. It's called The Long Night and the trailer can be seen here: https://player.vimeo.com/video/80390315
Lastly, I always refer to Howard Zinn's line, "you can't be neutral on a moving train" when doing advocacy work.
Keep on rocking in the free world!
