Got a MSG pair through 10c and a single MSG today for a friend. Struck out on both Philly but a friend managed to get each of us a single for Philly2. Super excited

I got a pair for SF. Said I chose e-tickets. I never was given a choice. Was that everyone's experience? Never had e-tix before. I like stubs. How does e-tix work if I want to give one to a friend or trade for night 1?

I think you should be able to print them off, no?
I'm in Canada, & the only option I got was to be mailed my Seattle ticket. It'll be nice to have a hard copy like in the "old days", and I don't think it cost me any more, but I just thought it was weird. Why can't I print off my own or pick it up at will-call? O.o

They hide the mail option. You have to click on "Other Delivery Options" or something along those lines then you can select Standard Mail, Overnight etc. They generally make you pay now for Standard Mail. It does default to e-Tickets and doesn't prompt you to select a delivery option so you probably missed it.
However, you can go to the venue box office and ask them to print you a hard ticket day of. I've never had them tell me they couldn't do it.
You can print off your e-Ticket for your friend, they don't check names. Your friend couldn't take the e-Ticket to get a hard copy printed off though, because I think they ask for ID before they do that.
I got 10c msg. My daughter and I were both trying for Philly. No luck. But the best brother ever texted me this:
"Hey call me when you have a sec. Need to discuss a totd matter with you."
He scored a single knowing he probably couldn't go bc of travel/ work just in case I couldn't buy anything today. I'm in to Philly 2! Best brother ever.

Got lucky! I scored a pair to The Forum in LA. It used to be a DISGUSTING DUMP!! But it was totally re-done and is now considered one of the best concert venues in the country. Sound Quality was a top priority for the project ;-) No sports teams or anything in The Forum - concerts and events only. However, construction for the massive $2.5 Billion new football stadium (LA Rams), entertainment and shopping complex, of which the Forum is part of, is underway; completion date is 2019. There are still tix available as of this posting time/date, but not many and they are all behind the stage. FWIW, tix at this venue behind the stage are probably still worth considering if you struck out. Anywhere else in the back? NO! But look at *photos* of the inside of the venue, NOT just the seating diagram - you'll see in the photos that it's not bad..... there's hardly a really bad seat anywhere. Note: parking is $25-$40 (!!!), and traffic will be extra, extra sucky due to normal LA traffic, the show is on a weekday (more traffic), fewer parking spaces during construction, and the construction itself will cause further problems. Taxi, Uber, or Lyft reccomended!
Michael in Los Angeles
First Show was 1995
I've lost count of how many afterwards.
Memorable funny show moments: The Halloween show with the whole band dressed as The Villiage People including Mike in assless chaps doing Yellow Ledbetter; Ed forgetting the words to "Betterman" in Vegas.
Ed looking upwards at the the giant cables coming to the center in old Forum (circular building) in LA and saying it looked like the worlds biggest asshole, just like Dick Cheney. :-)
