    It depends on where you are staying....the Fox Theater is around 40 miles away from Los Angeles.

    Berkeley's Greek Theater. Superb! One of the best venues I've ever been in.
    Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (used to be called the San Francisco Civic Auditorium). Fantastic! Great balcony seating!
    Kimball's, San Francisco- used to be one of the best. I think they're gone now but not sure.
    Great American Music Hall, San Francisco. Excellent venue!
    Flint Center for the Performing Arts, De Anza College, Cupertino. Marvelous acoustics!

    Couldn't believe he had to add that show same day as PJ boston So i have to do the night before in Santa Barbara. He's the best!!!! You are in for a real good first CA show :)
