That post really is hypocritical. First off, lets just get this straight, I paid $245 it. Yeah, I paid way too much but really wanted one. I was first selling it for $40 less than what I paid, now $80 less. I'm losing money on it. When I met two 10 clubbers in the lobby of MSG and gave my tickets to them for face value when I could've stepped out to the street and easily have gotten $400 for them, where were you @MUZIK then? When I have a guy my extra MSG night 1 poster for $35 because he missed out, where were you @MUZIK then? There's other stuff too but who cares? I don't want credit for any of that, but don't call me out telling people what I'm doing here is wrong.

Why is it that people can sell the vinyls for $1000, and that's not flipping, but asking for a certain price for a poster is? Last time I checked, the Kong, Pittsburgh 13, Cracker Jack , every f'n poster was originally $30 or $35, yet I'm doing something wrong???? That's BS man

Na. You're living under a rock. Nothing is ever resold...its traded for money. Mods are cool about it. It's not a problem unless you are asking prices way over market value.

@sak300zx easy bro. My post wasn't directly just towards you. I've seen it plenty of times.

But considering that the 10C just sold this and amongst of other show edition prints, then you see a post of someone asking for 5x the amount they paid for it. It's definitely can rub some people the wrong way.

The examples you gave are shows that happened anywhere from 3-6 years ago.

Slight difference.

Anyway, If you spent $245 on a poster then you probably don't need the money right away.

"This" means this post, so it sort of was directed towards me. Since you said you don't come on here often, you may not know that this poster was the most sought after of this tour and goes for anywhere between $150-$200. It sort of sounded like you were coming down on this particular post, but if your saying it wasn't, then it wasn't.

That's irrelevant. Take a look around this board. If your saying what I am doing is flipping then selling those for anything above their purchase price is against the rules. Whatever, I guess we just disagree...

This is a $200 poster everyone, that is just the way the world works!

It sold out at the show as fast as physically possible, it sold out in the 10C in two minutes, and there is rarely one available on eBay.

Buy it or don't buy it, but don't call out a specific seller when anything sought after has an inflated price after the general supply of it is exhausted.

People that have it, want it to be high. People that don't, want it to be low. Current market value is a funny thing, it's always flunctuating. So apparently this one is not flying off the shelf at $160. Only time will tell.

It's the "I need to have it now" mentality that drives the market up on these posters. If no one wanted them it would still be in the shop for $35.
I hope to add this to my collection one day.

Supply and demand .... FAIR market value yeah yeah yeah blah blah blah. I agree this show was just a few months ago. And honestly hype that drives these posters up is pathetic. And to get something straight the buyer doesn't care what you paid they wanna know what deal they can get- doesn't matter the item.

I didn't bring up the price I paid for it until I was called out for being a flipper. Losing money on something is generally not the hallmark of flipping. I agree, the buyer doesn't care about what I paid, why should they. I know I don't care when I buy something. Anyways, I've chosen to keep the poster in my collection its just not worth this headache.
