MIDWEST FOLKS - Temple of the Dog Tour, where are we going?

TavanCTavanC Posts: 27
So my fellow mid-westerners, since it appears the Temple of the Dog reunion is missing fly-over country completely....if you are trying for one show, which would it be? What would drive your decision - city, venue, calendar, cost???

My immediate thoughts, east coast is much shorter and likely cheaper flight/drive. Seeing the reunion in Seattle would be amazing b/c you know there will surprises in the place where it all began, but also furthest away from me. San Francisco is ALL GA, which would be both awesome and terrible as I think about lining up 2 days ahead at nearly 40.

Going to put it one lottery request and cross my fingers. Just have to decide which one.

I'm in Fayetteville, AR and I'm trying for Seattle and/or LA. I've always wanted to go to Seattle and this would be the perfect excuse to Finally make the trip. I've only been to LA once so it would be cool to go back and spend some more time exploring. Good luck everyone.

Seattle would be great because I could stay with my brother but travel expenses would be higher. If i were entering I would go for Philly but for me the ticket prices are too expensive. I can afford it I just don't see paying that much.

That's a good point. It will be early November though so likely not too bad East, but Cali does sound better.
I am coming from STL also. Coincidentally, I also received a special rate offer from Southwest today.

I understand why Philly and Seattle ticket odds with the 10c drawing are 15% and 18% respectively given the size of the venue. But why is SF at 99%?. Is nobody putting in for the SF show?

Wow - Philly and Seattle are going to be nuts in those small venues. 15% isn't looking too good for me though.

Prior to these dates being announced I wondered if Chris would make an appearance at one of the Wrigley shows for a mini TOTD reunion. Still possible I suppose. Also, does anyone else think TOTD could add a date or two to this tour? I doubt it, but Nov. 9 in the Midwest makes some sense.

Give the rest of the fan club time to put in for the lottery, I'm sure it will get below 5%....
