No tickets available at all! Just looked at Seattle and NYC
Seattle sold out of the cc/soundgarden presale tickets fairly quick. It seems it took the CC mailing list quite the while to send out all of it's emails. I didn't get mine until hours after Seattle sold out. There's still the 10c presale and regular sale though. I get the feeling NYC might be easier due to the size of the venue. Seattle is in a theatre. Going to sell like hotcakes.
Lucky enough to see the email really early, scored 9th row center tickets to the MSG show! So incredibly stoked!! These shows are going to be so special.

Glad alot of board members were able to get tix, crazy how far apart emails went out. That 10c lottery is looking tough, but you have to think some dates will get added, at least a 2nd show in a couple cities.
Shameless plug/plea: if there's a ticket drop for Fenway 1 hopefully someone can shoot me a message so I don't miss out.
And people bitch about the 10th of the month 10C newsletters coming late!!!
Got my CC email at 5:30pm EST and Soundgarden email at 7pm EST. The presale tix went up at 1pm EST. By then everything was gone.

I'll do you one better. I have a pair of Fenway 1 tix I'll sell you for face value. They are not great seats, but if you want them, they are yours. If you want to hold out for better seats, I understand and will be able to find a home for these. Grandstand 4 row 10. "Side Stage View". Let me know if you want them. I would need you to paypal and I can email you the tickets. I can come up with a couple people to vouch for me from the board who I have had ticket exchanges with in the past. Cheers!
What is this all about? All I know about is the 10C lottery ending on July 27th and the public tickets go on sale on 7/29, but I don't recall seeing anything about a 10C presale. ???

It wasn't a 10c presale. It was a Chris Cornell, TOTD, and Soundgarden presale. People on those mailing lists got a presale code for a Ticketmaster presale that started yesterday.

10c got some tickets, and CC/Soundgarden/ToTD got some tickets. 10c is allocating their's via Lotto, CC/Soundgarden/ToTD did theirs via ticketmaster presale (and they all used the same code). So all the comments of people already buying tickets is regarding the other presales.
I'll tell you what sucks- to be on an airplane and miss everything because you had no clue there was a show and then tickets sell out by the time you get off the plane! Geesh!

I'm going to - it's just hard to believe the announcement and pre sale happened THAT fast!

It happened with Chris Cornell's solo tour last year too. I woke up on morning with the tour annoucement email in my inbox. It gave the password and said tickets were on sale now. Pulled up 1st row because no one knew about it yet.
It's one way to do it. As it went down yesterday, I'm guessing most of the CC/Soundgarden presale tickets went to fans, because the info flew through the message board (and facebook groups) before too many scalpers were dialed into it. You announce something a week in advance and scalpers (and the bots) are all over it.

This is true, but the CC / Soundgarden presale password newsletter didn't arrive to all fans @ the exact time. The emails was sent out on various times of the day from their provider who distributed the newsletter. It totally sucked! I mean tickets went on sale @ 1pm EST. Only a few fans receive the email with the presale password. Many didn't receive that email with code until hours after. Hours after the presale sold out. For those that don't do social media or don't come here to view the forums every single day also those who don't receive the newsletter on time, it sucks. It really sucks for them. It's pretty much impossible to score on the public sale date knowing scalpers will be ready in full force with bots coming next Friday with Ticketmaster.

The Red Sox used to send each member of the (stupid) Red Sox Nation membership a personalized code for presale tickets. It could only be used once. They ended up doing away with it because it required more administration and in their words "All the tickets get sold, and that's what we care about." Shame they could not do that for tickets to PJ, SG, CC, EV, TOTD
