I Can't Find The Words

In this great Nation,
We once called United,

I see the walls are crumbling down.

The once bright rainbow
Above us has divided;

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple
Have become frActals of a
Once promised dream.

One side wakes to bear a burden,

While another side wakes,
Crying and hurting.

But these are crosses,
Born and carried for
Much
Too long.

Each side screaming the same
War cry
in a world and time that has
Changed far past its original meaning.

Far past understanding....

Have we forgotten how to
Communicate,
Assimilate and
Understand?

Have we have forgotten the right words?

The right words to
Educate,
Propagate,
And stop the Hate.

Just maybe,
In this world of High tech,
High speed,
And High pride

Instead of pointing a finger
At who is Right
And who is Wrong,

Have we forgotten how to

"Ask each other for help?"

Have we forgotten
How to learn from one another

And

In turn,
Have we forgotten how to love one another?

And maybe what I have written is
All wrong,

I can't find the words.
