Noticed that there are a couple of new REGA turntables on the market. Planar 2 and 3. When I say new, they are updates to a series of turntables that are 30+ years old. Quite interested to hear what people think of Rega.
Rega turntables sound excellent in my opinion, I would put them up against any tables! I have a P3 that's a 2 years old and it sounds amazing, I'm going for a P6 next! If your looking at either of these I'd suggest the P3 due to the accessories you get, well worth the extra $$
Better than Pro-ject? I live in the UK but Rega only seem to have certain dealers.
I prefer Rega any day over Pro-ject...rega knows analog, look at everything they make....it's all high quality stuff, including their entry table P1. That's what I started with and I did comparisons vs Pro-ject, but if you go that route you better have some great gear to go with it to be able to hear the difference, otherwise you would be just wasting your money!

Rega Brio-R Integrated Amp
Rega RS3 loudspeakers
Rega Ear Headphone Amp
Grado Prestige Series SR225i headphones
Rega Duet speaker cable
Rega Couple 2 Interconnects
An all Rega system sounds phenomenal. I will be upgrading the turntable in the very near future with another Rega, likely the P2.
