I'm with you man. I wasn't too upset with the setlist at MSG, until I started seeing this one. WTF? This set is epic. It has everything the hardcore fan would want, yet they pull it out for Hartford? Very weid.

I am scared for tomorrow, which is a show I am attending. Half the songs I was really looking forward to possibly hearing are being played tonight.

    Either way, BEST BAND EVER!
exactly msg hasnt been the rare song/setlist mixer breeding ground in 10 years. kudos to hartford!
Let's not be negative now. Thumper has spoken
  • I really enjoyed both MSG's but i feel they should have played this setlist the second night instead of 11 of the same songs. Still MSG was fuckin great even after having to sleep in the train station after night 2

Seriously. This is pissing me off to the max. We got nothing at MSG. I don't think it was overhyped at all, I think they should've lived up to the hype. It's MSG for fuck's sake!!

That would be a great addition to the set. I love screaming the lyrics to Blood when I'm driving. People think I'm crazy and get out of my way. lol

it cracks me up how people are upset that the msg shows didnt have THE BEST SETLISTS OF THE TOUR. people that i know that went to the shows had a good time. why wouldnt the hartford concertgoers deserve a great setlist?

I agree, I did not realize all 20000 people there each night were hardcore fanclub members

this is a killer set so far for megafans, but overall i think this tour has a you-had-to-be-there to get it. like, no matter what they play, if youre there and experience the energy in the air, youre gonna walk away with a huge smile.

then again, garden opens the encore, so maybe this show is a little special....
No time to question why nothing lasts
  • Nice. Love Garden and love the fact they are playing the older version. I prefer that one.

I have not heard it. I am new to the inro via the DVD. I love it though. I will definitely have to check the 2000 ones out. Any particular show version you'd recommend?

go find berlin 1996. pearljamlive.com should be able to sort you out.
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

clearly PJ cares as little about MSG as everyone else outside of NYC... they put out one DVD at the venue and all of a sudden every show there is supposed to be epic?

    THIS SHOW IS SICK!!!! :D
