This is pretty awesome. Not going to make this screening (still going to both Fenway shows), but if they do this on the Wrigley skip day, I'm in. Flying into Chicago Sunday morning for the Monday show.

when i first got the email from 10c, i thought they were streaming a live show from the HOB for all members..... with a small venue like this, the show majority 10c members- plus peeps around the world, I thought to myself how cool would it be to experience this one moment in time together.

But then i read it thoroughly and said Fuck.

but kudos to the club for hooking local peeps up

This is awesome!! Driving in from Buffalo Saturday morning for Sunday's show and was bummed I couldn't get tickets for Friday. Told my friend who's coming with me and we are both stoked, hopefully we can land the tickets. Otherwise we will just have to take a ride up to the Sam Adams Brewery to console ourselves!!

It has to be an incredible show for them to release a DVD, especially a full show. They haven't done that since MSG 2003 and the Showbox. Anyway, they seem to tape every show these days.

This is super cool, kudos 10c. But I'd be lying if I said it didn't just make me want tickets to the actual show even more! It's clearly going to be a special one/they've got something up their sleeve, perhaps more so than Sunday? UGH FOMO.

I see that now on the entry page. I was looking at the news page.

I wonder what the negative mark means though. Really who cares if they have a negative mark if there is no ramifications for getting one. That said I really hope only that want and can go put in for it and not someone that will decide the day of the event not to go because they just are not up to it.

Or they put in now and can't make the flight from wherever.

This negative mark makes sense. No shows at a 10C-only event doesn't mean they can "gift" the tickets to people in the back. A no-show here means empty seats. They really want these tickets to go to people who will be in Boston and not "I'll enter now and freak out when I can't make the flight and lodging happen."

Rule #1 - Never ever travel the day of an event, if at all possible. Yes, it may mean an extra night in a hotel, but the money spent will be worth the "insurance" against something happening.

Read the fine print though: "Attempting to resell your spot at this event will result in cancellation of ticket purchase and possibly loss of membership." Bang!

Hopefully this gets rid of a few flippers who think they can sell their spots for $495.

Rights issues and licensing fees... they'd probably have to pay to transmit cover songs, tags, etc.

Does anyone know how the negative mark works? What if you show up, but don't have a guest with you, so only one spot is used? Do you still get "marked"?
