    I've seen some horrible concerts:

    TLC/Boyz II Men/Montell Jordan
    Korn/Limp Bizkit/ Orgy
    Korn again
    NSYNC
    Jessica Simpson
    Matchbox 20
    Stroke 9/ Nine Days
    Goo Goo Dolls
    Kid Rock
    Nelly Fertaudo
    Lifehouse
    Creed 3x (this one hurts)

I'll just say this, when your 19 and you are getting 'it' steadily you can be blinded and do anything to keep it..I'm now 24 and much wiser

I agree. Monday looks like it will be outstanding.

I actually like this show also though. Some good ones for me... low light, off he goes, faithful, i got shit, LROM sounds great live, etc...

It is overstated, but the 'worst' set list on this tour is still gold when put into perspective.

Monday could be a 3 encore marathon though.
mike said in the spin interview that the band was tired from last night, I think that's why it was kind of a slow night.

Also that curfew of 11:00 is lame. these will be the 1st shows of the tour to end at 11:00

my only beef would be that it was kinda short (compared to the other sets this tour)
no complaints as to content-and as I have often said
they could play mary had a little lamb 20 times in a row and there is still no better way to spend an evening

haha, I saw that Stoke 9/Nine Days show on that tour- but I didn't pay for that one. :)

And being from Tallahassee, FL- where's Creed came from, I saw their CD release party for their 1st album BEFORE they went national. They haven't been back since- I think we hate them more than the rest of the world. What's funny is that Alterbridge has played here like 4 or 5 times though. I wonder why they weren't coming here? ;)

ev could barely stand at the end of the hartford show

Sounds right and it was freaking hot in that joint.
Look for them to start a bit early (i.e right on time) on mon.

are they implying he didnt even finish the song? That really sucks if they turn up the lights before the band is ready... especially someone of the stature of Pearl Jam... honestly they put Mansfield on the map for me... Thats the kind of shit you pull on the Blues Brothers in Bob's Country Bunker.

I have this great technique I use when a setlist isn't my favorite ... I pretend that Sleater-Kinney played during the final encore.
Suddenly, things don't seem that bad.

haha actually I think I saw them 4 times.. Cleveland 1999 (I actually went for Our Lady Peace bc I didn't know who Creed was), Cleveland 2001 2x- his voice gave out due to illness during the first show so they came back a week later for $5, and I saw them in 2003 because my GF at the time knew I liked PJ so she got Creed tickets as a suprise (I'm not with her anymore)

I will say that the 1999 show was good because it was during the time that OLP was fucking cool as hell

LukinFan - forever in your debt - you have been there for us - you make it so that not being there live doesn't hurt so much (does that make sense?)!! Thanks so much!

MrsVedder 78 - thanks for tonight! Hope you had a blast!

yeah I still like OLP, I don't really care for their last 2 albums, but the previous work is still enjoyable.

LOL at OLP opening for Creed. Creed should be kissing OLP's asses.

    Just got back --

I guess that if you ask me what was most memorable I'd say how abrupt it ended. I dont know if they got caught off guard or what, but to end on Alive felt weird.

That and they soundchecked 5 AMAZING songs and didnt play one of them (btw, Education was also soundchecked).

I dont know why if you know a curfew is going to be that tight you don't either go on earlier or at least start on time.

Kind of a disappointing show - and please, Ed, don't repeadetly reference having all night and testing endurance when its going to be the shortest show of the tour. Please... everyone actually believed it!

    Very funny lol! Good work.

Not a great show. Hopefully I picked two winners with MSG1 and BostonII
Jones Beach II (2000), Holmdel (2003), Camden I, East Rutherford II, Gorge I, Gorge II (2006), MSG I, Boston II (2008), Spectrum II, Spectrum III, Spectrum IV (2009), MSG I, MSG II (2010), Prague (2012), Philly I (2013), Philly I, Philly II, Fenway I (2016), Fenway I (2018), MSG (2022), MSG I, Fenway 1 (2024)

No shit ... What year was this?
    October of 1999

it was Oleander, Our Lady Peace, and Creed

actually, I forgot another shitty concert. I won a OLP meet and greet in 2003 and they happened to be opening for 3 Doors Down and Shinedown also played. That was when OLP jumped the shark for me, I sat there looking at where I was and OLP was never the same to me

Ooo, fuck ... I hadn't noticed that Rival and Habit got soundchecked! Fuckers! PLAY THEM MONDAY!!!

Too tired to read more than the last page, but I echo the feeling of the abrubt ending...Ending on Alive with the house lights not yet turned on? It sucked...show was o.k., but had I not been at Hartford, I'd be pretty let down...
