    yea its hit or miss, but its one of those songs where mikey can really bring an audience to their knees if hes on fire. i bought all teh 2000 boots after seeing them live for the first tme on that tour, and black is a highlight of any show its a part of.

    Listen to Grateful Dead doing Wharf Rat and the way Jerry sings "true to me" and the way Ed sings "will remind me" are eerily similar.

    i thought that was meant as a joke... when i heard him say that i thought it was gonna be like small town or something so we'd sing it instead of him
