weren't there curfews on other shows like DC or Hartford?? If so, why was only 25 odd songs played in both Mansfield shows? I know the number of songs played doesn't make a show but they played about 6 more songs in DC the other week. Thanks to the relayer :) Great tour!

yeah i dont know what happened to the so called curfew in DC but yeah short shows compared to NY and DC...kinda surprising

I know, let's soundcheck Habit twice in a row and then not play it! Yeah, that'll be cool. Make sure we get No More in there again, though ...

    Other that that, good set.

If you're talking about me ... Its an awesome set. People can't make comments? It must be nice being perfectly content all the time.
  • Just heard from the son...Great concert. Unfortunately someone crowbarred broke into the console of our Jeep and stole son's Ipod and son's friend's GPS. Alas. Guess I'll post this somewhere else in case any concert goers noticed anything in the parking lot...

Curse all of you people for being in attendance tonight!!!! That's a nice setlist and looks like it was a rockin' time. Overall, I'd say this has been a fabulous mini-tour. Now I only hope they focus on a new album for the rest of the year so they can do a full-fledged tour next year.
    Rock on!

    dayum!!
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

Stone Gossard sucking on the tits of a man in a cow costume. Just when you thought you have seen it all.

I think that was the funniest thing I have ever seen before. We were in hysterics that they brought the guy in the cow suit on stage to rock out during Rocking in the free world.. but when stone ran to Mikes side (where the cow was dancing) and dropped to his knees to suck on the plastic utters.. omg, so funny!

judging only by the set list, this show reminded me of going and eating at one of those Mexican restaurants where they bring your food out on fire: the show started out on fire, but as time went on it just fizzled into being an ordinary show. Still solid, but the encores didn't match the main set

That's the sort of thing some people on the setlist thread said about Tampa.
I learned then how hard it is to judge a show from a list of songs.

It's a fun exercise when we're following a show on the interweb, but that's about it.

  • That show never fizzled. It just kicked ass straight through. It was the best show I have seen. They just blew the doors of the place and it was LOUD for an outdoor place. I was hoarse, I lost my breath so many times, and everyone was jamming out everywhere.
