cheers for the photo, cant wait, going to be amazing!
  • Is it me, but on the picture, the venue seems not so big...?!

How many people can be there (seated and standing) ?
Still waiting for a gig in Paris (in a venue not a festival) since 2006...

    12'000 I think

It is quite big once you're in there. The stage is huge.
  • Yes, you're right.

    probably a question of perspective.

Anyway, thanks for the picture and the informations.

    Can't wait to be there...

Are the floor seats going to be there? i.e. C1, C2, C3.
If you all stop hitting refresh for just two minutes, I can buy my tickets...

I was in N13 a few years back and the stage seemed a million miles away. Sorry you're French, about 1,500,000 kms.

    S3 is good.

    E3 person, bring binoculars, heh.

I had a pretty bad seat back in '00 for wembley, so am pleased to be in the pit this time round.

Um, I have seats in S1 - does this mean that I'm just going for the live sound experience without a view of the stage?

    hi

my experience of wembley is based on two gigs - springsteen a few years ago and led zep a long time aog. the sound hits the back wall and then bounces forward. This can be quite odd.
I'm also sat at the back, near you i reckon. wembley has had a big re-furb just lately, the sound might be better thesedays. to be honest, i reckon it's just as good/bad as any other large arena (nec/earls court).
For me, it'll be my fist pj concert, and i will be so glad to see one of the best bands in the world at long last. That said, i wouldlove to be near the front

you'll need to have eyes like a hawk to see if pearl jam are really on stage. but the sound will tell you that you are one of the chosen ones.
it will be great, and even though i have a crap seat i keep telling myself that i will be there, with my son Liam, pearl jam and thousands of other decent people listening to music that i love. bring it on!

  • We're in D2 row 12. Do you think we'd likely to have to stand up to see anything?

My friend I'm going with isn't going to be able to stand for that long.

it's not very racked at that point I understand.
and anyway it's a rock concert! the people in front will be most likely be standing so no, you shouldn't be able to see seating (mind you, don't think you'd see that much standing anyway considering the distance ;))
if the person you're with has a mobility problem then maybe you should contact Wembley to get a disabled seat (they're at the front of side sections so should not have standing people blocking your view)
  • Thanks for the reply Peagus.

Yes, it's a health problem which has happen since we booked the tickets.

rows with number like "0" means high or low in the seats plan ? thanks
  • Anyone know what Wembley Arena's policy is on taking drinks in?

I mean soft drinks not beer. My mate will probably need to take something in with him.

they dont let you take anything in... medicinal things perhaps but no water or soft drinks are normally allowed.

this is so you buy water there at £7.50 a thimble
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    beer's "only" about 3 quid a pint though... ;)
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?

If your friend has trouble standing i would try 'phoning the venue.they might be able to get you and your friend into a special area. it's worth a try, they have to do these things by law, as lng as you explain it's a health problem that happened since you bought the tix.
    good luck

Saw Page & Plant from C1 seats in '98, there was GA standing at the front. From memory security seemed pretty hot, jumping on anyone who dared to stand throughout the show. Might be different now, but I have heard from people who have had the same happen since.
