Pemberton, July 17th

Maybe I missed it, but I haven't been able to locate a thread about the news of PJ playing on the 17th up north. Are quite a few of you on here making the trip? I think we're gonna buy the one-day pass. It's pretty damn pricey, but I'm too far removed from my last show to wait for a Missoula announcement with my fingers constantly crossed. Anyone have alternative route to get a one-day ticket for $169?

    The announcement is a sticky.. so it's towards the top. It's a bit weird because for the first while we only knew they were playing the festival but not which night. It was only a week or so they announced the daily schedule and we found out it was Sunday night. I think that was an e-mail from the Pemberton Festival itself (I don't think PJ sent out anything to let people know what night it was, and that they could buy single day tickets). Pemberton seems like the black sheep of the 2016 tour. Only a handful of us seem to be making the effort to go.

    I'm going.. It kind of reminds me Calgary 09. One of those Western Canadian shows a little out of the way that most of the traveling die hards don't go to. I'm pretty stoked. Calgary '09 was awesome!

    I didn't think they were going to announce any more dates this year. If they were going to do Montana (which I haven't even heard mentioned until your post) you'd think it would be around the other western dates (Colorado and British Columbia). That's only a month away now.... well 3 weeks :)

    Yeah, there's no Missoula date in the forecast. Been a while, and I'd love a show that I don't have to drive far to. But, it's worth it. We'll be in Pemberton, can hardly wait. This is definitely my shortest time in between deciding to go and having to wait for the date.
