Is there a 432hz download of Vs available?

Instead of the standard 440hz, all the older instruments were created for a 432hz tuning as opposed to 440hz, like instruments have been since the mid 60's, so Mike's guitars being made in 1959 were made for 432hz tuning. Stradivarius Violins were tuned to 432hz, as were many great instruments.

A=440 became standard in the 40s.

This would have a much bigger effect on acoustic instruments and even then it would be so subtle they you'd likely not hear a difference in a guitar made for one standard over the other. I've read up on this phenomenon some and infinitely more on the specs of older electric guitars and I've never heard of any correlation.

That's not to say that 432hz recordings wouldn't be an interesting listen, but I think the only feasible way would be to slow the album down a hair.

I've tuned my acoustic guitar to 432hz and it was a cool sound. Some of the extra body that tuning down 1/2 step, but without the sloppy strings or boominess. There was no magical rainbows or hand of God reaching down to grab me.

I'm confused as to whether there would be a different version for this. Sounds to me, and I'm not educated on this, that the instruments were tuned to 432 hz, or down half a step for the album. Guns N' Roses do this too for all their albums, I believe.... at least they tune their guitars down half a step if that is the same thing? I'm reading more on this now and may be back to edit my post. ;)

Half step down is not the same. You do tune down a bit from a440, but it's just a hair and still much closer to standard. Half step is around 415hz

Pink Floyd recorded all their albums in 432hz

Pink Floyd recorded all their albums in 432hz

No they didn't, or if they did they would speed them up so a=440. I play along to their studio albums pretty frequently and never hear a difference in pitch.

According to this guy, read the video description

Well, I don't know what to say other than that guy is wrong and likely full of shit. I'm not debating whether 432 is more in sync with the universe or more pleasing to listeners, but the list of modern artists in the description is simply incorrect. The Beatles, Hendrix, Zeppelin etc etc all tuned their instruments based on a440. They did some different tuning and would manipulate tape speed to alter pitch, but I've never heard of them even discussing 432 hz. These are the most discussed and written about musicians ever and I've never heard or read anything to the effect of them using 432hz.

This is funny because with your avatar it feels like Ron Burgundy is saying it to me and this is what he would say.

I tuned my acoustic down to 432 hz yesterday. I like the sound. Going to suggest it with the band I'm working with. Why not. Something different never hurts.

I think it's a great idea, I love the resonance of that tuning
