Anything you lose from being honest
You never really had to begin with.

Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.

Very high on my list: books and records.

Don't forget the turntable to spin those records on!

Having all those records and no table to spin them on, reminded me of this poor soul....

He had one of the best names ever, Hobbes.

Why has "Burgess" not taken off amidst the other BS children names?

He looks like a young John Hurt there.

Ah, yes, a young John Hurt. Good call.

    Burgess Shale?

That has something to do with time enough, I think.

Haha! One of my favorite but oddly enough, worst nightmarish Twilight Zone episodes!

Me too! Saw it as a kid and it was immediately burned on my brain forever. I even had dreams related to this episode over the years.

So.... I will say I cannot do without Twilight Zone marathons on Christmas (or is it Thanksgiving?). I can escape from all the family BS into my corner, regain my sanity (what's left) and Zone out.

Thanksgiving, Hobbes (at least here on Sci-Fi - excuse me, Sy-Fy) and sometimes on July 4th.

Rod Serling was cool as fuck.
