In his latest book, Half Earth; Our Planet's Fight for Life, biologist, entomologist, researcher, theorist, naturalist, and author Edward O. Wilson jumps into his work with a brief discussion of the two Eras, (Mesozoic and Cenozoic), and how we've been in the Cenozoic's seventh epoch, the Holocene (epochs last anywhere from 8,000 years to as many as 28.5 million years), but we may already have transitioned into a new epoch, tentatively called the Anthropocene (related to humans' impact on the planet).
What do you suppose the new epoch will look like? Might it become a new era rather than a new epoch? (Talk about big changes!) What will one's locale look like further into this new period of time? And the world as a whole? Where will we be, what will we do?
I know, a lotta darn question! That's all I have, questions.
