Poster fake?

Hi, had one of you ever had a problem with a fake poster?
I bought one from Ebay (Trieste 14 Ames) and i think it´s a fake. The paper of the print feels different from my other show posters
How can I be sure that it is not a fake?
Thanks for your help

Ames paper has a different feel to it. Usually seems thinner, lighter, and softer than the usual poster paper.

agree with the above opinions, Ames paper, especially the last few years, is crazy thin and has a softer more pliable feel to it.

I just purchased a 4/29 Emek Philly on eBay. The price was extremely cheap compared to the others ($100). It came with the sticker as well. Could anyone tell me the tell-tale signs of a fake? This is my first PJ poster.

    Assume they're fakes.

    Assume they're fakes.

Why do you assume that? Please add something factual other then just saying "assume they're fakes".

I had a situation a while ago where I bought a print I already had, and it was a different paper/texture. I emailed the artist and he informed me that the posters that were sold at the show were printed locally, so they were done slightly differently than the ones he printed in his shop which went on sale at the 10c website.

I would email the poster artist and explain what you see/feel about yours that makes you think it's fake.

All of the 2016 posters have the hologram sticker on the back correct? Seems like it would be difficult to replicate that

Those are easily mass reproduced. All you need is one off a poster, or even a good scan, then they can be made no problem at all. Just look at how many people get screwed on sports memorabilia with fake hologram stickers.

Dude, it's simple. Once someone fakes something there becomes an abundance. Hologram, poster, everything, could be easily replicated....... China can duplicate nearly anything at fractions of the original cost. However they don't replicate in small numbers. Take the Tampa 16 shirt. Allover ebay at a third the cost...... bootleg. You're safe. Unless we see ebay flooded with them.

Like others have said, AMES Bros. posters seem to have a different feel from other posters. They feel flimsy and a little shiny. Not a good or bad thing but just different.

They are often different sizes too...

Yes, that´s exactly how it feels, soft and thinner, so maybe it´s all good. I emailed Ames, but didn´t get a response since yet
    Thanks for your help
