    Friend of my mine lives in the area. Whole reason I'm going. I'm Canadian, so I have one friend that lives in the entire United States, and it happened to be Chicago where it happens my favourite band is playing on my birthday. I figured that was enough signs that I should go.

    Currently at the Congress Hotel in the Loop. Great location - maybe not so great hotel. I'd rather stay down where there is more to do and take the train to the shows.
    The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

    Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.

    Some people will be camping out for rail the entire time from Friday til Monday night for both shows, so they won't need a hotel... :rofl:
    Gonna be some damn stinky people on the rail...

    hotel about 10 minutes away... may consider getting female roomies as we are only 2 girls in the room now... have the room from Friday to Tuesday if someone is interested and doesn't mind taking a cot :)

    Besides we are walking distance and you can come hang out with us till the trains settle down a little. Yay more visiting time.
