72 years ago today. "U.S., British, Canadian and French troops landed as dawn was breaking June 6, 1944..."

Thank you to all who serve/served and to all who had family members who served during that amazing time.

The world would be a different place without this event.

    There are several vets among us I know of...and am quite fond of them because of and beyond their service.

    Very cool doc right now on KCET (a tv station here, local only I think) on some who served. Good stuff.
