To all Northern Irish/Irish jammers....

We've a tribute to the greatest band in the world, Procul Harum, sorry I mean Pearl Jam! We're called Pearl Jem and we're putting on a show in the Spring and Airbrake in Belfast 2moro night (Friday 5th). Doors are at 9pm and i'm not sure but I think adm is £9. We played a gig in the Forum in Waterford last week and it was unreal, personally speaking it was a serious feeling to be up on stage and have people screaming the words of our favourite Pearl Jam songs back at us. I honestly believe that Pearl Jam fans are the most loyal and dedicated in the world. So I guess rather than a Pearl Jam tribute show it's a Pearl Jam appreciation night where we all just come together to praise the greatest band in the world by rocking out, be it from the stage or the floor. The set is safe enough with lots of the greatest hits there plus a generous sprinkle of rarities and album tracks, all delivered with a full dose of pure strength. For all the guys in the band it's a privilege and labour of love, there's only a cover charge to cover our expenses. Anyone who can please come, I can't fuckin wait!

I've heard of you guys, you should come to Limerick, we've got a fantastic venue (Dolans) and if your singer looks anything like Eddie Vedder I'll be personally guaranteed rush the stage :D

Just after getting home from the gig, it was better than our expectations, the crowd were electric. If anyone's reading this who was at the gig, 1 million thank yous for coming and rocking out with us. Can't fucking wait to get back there in the New Year. As for Limerick, our manager is currently looking into getting a gig in Dolan's (which is one of the best venues in the country) and hopefully there'll be one in the book soon. I'll have pics up asap from the Belfast gig on my Bebo, once again thanks to all.

Ha your spot on Jenny, but with the Vedder clothes, a hairpiece and a columbus decanter even you'd be surprised how good an 'Eddie' Nigel does! There's no excuses Jenny, you need to get ur ass to a gig soon, if the Romanian guy who sits outside Supervalu in Ardee with an accordian was playing PJ tunes i'd go see him!:)
  • I have just posted your setlist from Friday on the Porch board! :)

Good night out, come back soon.

I was posting on The Porch all last week publicising the gig too!!! Search for it! You should have me on the guest list for the next show!!!!! :D

It's too late in the year to get anything booked in before christmas now but hopefully very soon in the new year. I'll post it here when anything comes up.
