And I like the one from Mansfield 1 the best of all of them.

Yeah, it was intense - and the crowd sang it really well. Not to mention the deafening applause/screaming/noise in the middle..
Won't let the darkness swallow me.
well 50 versions by pearl jam, and a few of a song called betterman by the john butler trio! No Robbie Williams
I wave to all my Friends... Yeah!
no det bias, not from there
Is that all?
Is there supposed to be more?
Just saying... I didn't really realize it at the time, but the boot is incredible.
My absolute favorite of all time has always been it's live debut, Atlanta 4-3-94. Before the song, Ed says "This is a new song, but it was written a long time ago. This is dedicated to the bastard that married my mama", and Dave plays the hi-hat and a rim shot through the whole intro, where it's normally just Ed and his geetar. It's an incredible, emotional version.
fuckin noob

YES!!
That version was great.
State College 03 was an awesome version too.
9/1/00 rules too. As does 9/16/98.
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"
...speaking as someone who was not at Mansfield 1, I assume?

I wasnt at bonnaroo either. Im going by bootlegs. And a one minute pause doesnt make the performance better. Im sure it easily has the best crowd participation for that song, but bonnaroos performance of that song is incredible.

if you were not at Mansfield you wouldn't understand!! the look on Ed's face (all their faces) was priceless and no doubt made what to me is a "chick song" the highlight of the tour!
pure unadulterated fan appreciation!!
Exactly. It was pretty insane. I was laughing the whole time, and it made everyone cheer louder and louder when everyone realized that it had become something very special.
