Well i've met ed twice, and he seems a really nice guy. However, i reckon the question should be who would u like to have a beer with? It would be eddie vedder. Meeting him, shaking his hand, and saying just a few words isnt enough. I want to have a beer with eddie.

Yeah, I don't understand why people waste so much time trying to meet Eddie or the band before and after shows. They think shaking Eddie's hand and saying "Great show!" is meeting someone. Maybe it is, but it doesn't seem all that great to me. If you actually got 10 minutes of conversation, then it would be worth it. Otherwise it is a glorified autograph (to me at least).
Jim Morrison - he just seems to be an interesting company if he wouldn't be too drunk..I have an interest in his writing plans he never got to fullfill. Mahatma Gandhi - I think converstations would be very inspiring. Albert Einstein - I read about his theories, life etc..spending time (or time-space (haha, do you get it?) with him would be not only educational but also I'm convinced that he had a great sense of humor W. Kandinsky, S.Dali or Van Gogh - great influences. Noam Chomsky - because I like some of his ideas. I would have to be in a special mood for him though.. F. Dostojevski - his writing it's just brilliant and so I imagine also speaking words
..and of course Eddie Vedder...I grew up with Pearl Jam, it's planted in every cell of mine and the things they got me feel...it just seem right to meet him (or any other band member). They gave me so much- so unknowingly..and I just wish I could return the gift.
The worst enemies of music? Money and Mathematics. Combined with music, they both do the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do. Money makes music cheap, mathematics makes it stupid and predictable.

Howard Stern.. I'm not exactly sure why either. I'm not some giant super fan or anything, but I have listened to his show in the morning for over 10 years. I know everything about him, it's almost like he is a close friend because of how much I know of his personal life, thoughts and opinions, yet I have never met him. I guess I would say him just for that reason.
I would also really love to meet Jerry Cantrell, Rush, Ritchie Blackmore, Clapton, and a shit load of others. By the way, I met Amanda Bynes yesterday she was at my local mall (Chicao Ridge/Westfield shopping mall) in chicago.

Yeh, I agree. I'd love to have a beer with Eddie. At least it would probably calm ME down a bit anyway of course I'd GET the beers and down a few shots at the bar before I bring them back to wherever we're sitting.

However meeting him and i prob talked wit ed for about a minute or 2, and it was one of the best moment of my life and he put his arm around me. I will take that over notheing any day of the week.

I saw Nelson Mandela from very close once at an award here in the Netherlands. I would just love to sit down with him and talk. I believe he is the wisest man alive right now. I would feel like a very small child probably talking to him. Read his autobiography....WOW! Anyone would feel humble talking to him I guess...and he is so humble himself.
Would love to meet the bandmembers as well of course, but would just like to meet them very casually and have a chat. Can I replace beer with wine...? Red wine that is..a nice merlot..?
Why not be mediocre and be the best at it that you can be?
A couple of beers with Vedder would be my top choice.
Than there is Jim Morrison, probably better without the beers here but anyway, he had some interesting views about life/society would have been a great conversation buddy. I've started translating The Lords and the Creatures to expand my vocabulary, this guy really was something.
Janis Joplin, interesting girl, left quite a mark on anybody that knew her. Imagine a jam with Janis and Ed, just acoustic guitars and THE voices.
Patti Smith would be an interesting encounter, I'd do a song with her.
I knew who I was before other people started telling me who I was. J.Joplin
Definitely a beer with Ed. He would have so many cool stories. But, what about a bon fire pow-wow with (all dead people) Layne Staley, Jim Morrison, Bob Marley, John Lennon and Kurt Cobain? That would be nice.
