2016 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 SOLD OUT!!!

I'm local to Indianapolis, so this is a pretty big deal to us here in the city. But the fact that the largest race in the world is 100% sold out a week before it runs, is an enormous deal!

Over 400,000 people in one spot to see one race.

Is anyone here coming to Indy for the race?

No, this is something different this year! The broadcast is normally blacked out here locally, and it will be live here in th city for the first time since 1950.

When CART split, attendance dropped, but has approved in the recent years. I used to scalp for 50% face value, but for the last three years I've been paying over face value.

When that car hit the barrier I thought his back was broken. That was a pretty scary crash but amazing the impact technology on these cars and the environment.
