i'm pretty sure this was from the 60's.

Nope, the shoulder pads were strictly 80s.

    This is a 60s Romulan.

Next Generation began in the late 80s, continued into the 90s. But I was also thinking about how awful women's fashions were in the 80s. Everything came with shoulder pads and they just kept getting bigger and bigger. You couldn't find a dress or blouse without shoulder pads. Everything had shoulder pads! Lingerie had shoulder pads! Shoes had shoulder pads! OK, it wasn't that bad but I remember that I'd buy clothes for work and take them home and remove the shoulder pads. Otherwise I felt like I was wearing one of those Romulan outfits.

    Dax swung both ways.

But I did love it that she ended up with Worf (as did Deanna Troi, if memory serves me well).

    Concusion: Worf was a stud!

Oh, yeah, Worf had a way with the ladies. I thought he and Dax made a great couple. I think he and Deanna only got together in alternate universes but it still seemed right. Of course she had to end up with Riker.

Too bad Riker couldn't work things out with that androgynous chick.
