I just wanted to devote a thread to this version of Porch.

I may be subjectively projecting my patriotism but if I'm not mistaken this live version of Porch is absolutely amazing. The long musical part of this song is so incredibly good its sometimes on the level of grand symphonic orchestra's the way their playing shows a harmony or togetherness of their instruments is so perfect.
"Ransom paid the Devil, he whispers pleasing words.
Triumphant are the angels if they can get there first."

  • I thought it was a great version.

But then I always show a slightly (read BIG) bias towards live songs when I was there in the crowd :-)

This was Ed's shiney Guitar as well wasn't it? When he was shining the light into the crowd.
