I would say Pinkpop Festival '92. Can anyone prove me wrong?

    two versions spring to mind..

    1) 11/17/93 New Orleans, LA
    (great extended Ed intro)

    2) 5/13/06 Hartford, CT
    (tight and hardnosed)

    check them out on pearljamlive.com

EV intro to Chloe Dancer / Crown of Thorns
    10/25/13 Hartford

I love the 12-02-06 Hawaii version. Eddie says I've Got A Question For You, and Matt starts. I don't really like the older versions.

I've always loved the Hartford bootleg. Can't go wrong with a show with Sleight Of Hand

Yeah, a great back-to-back rendition of WHY GO into GARDEN, SOH, Black and the second ever performance of Inside Job...

No I can't prove you wrong, but I like the band now even more than back in '92. And to stay in Holland I would say Arnhem 2006.

There's a live version on an old imported dissident single........not even sure where its from anywhere. that version kick ass.

also, grand rapids 06 had some great energy.

that version is from Atlanta 94....

anyway, i have to agree with lowlight03....Hawaii 06 version was powerful and the band sounds in general much tighter now than ever

edit: that hawaii show deserves some respect..maybe the boot wasn´t very downloaded and people dont know it...but IMHO it was in the top 10 of all 2006 shows

I like the Hartford show a lot. Are you being sarcastic or do you dislike it?

And frankly I'm sick of the negative comments about it. I thought the show was awesome. So what if they didn't bust out a dozen rarities? I thought they were playing on fire.

Back to the subject at hand:

3/29/94 complete with the "Fake Jeff" pre-speech with Ed saying "Don't be fooled" while Dave kicks into it.

My vote is for 1994 in Atlanta. If I was making a Pearl Jam best of, that version would make the cut. Far superior to the original...
