What a fucking awesome book, with tons of cool pictures and stories, I finally got around to reading it, at least 50 times more insightful than the movie, very hard to believe I was able to get a used copy in pretty pristine condition for less than $7.00 including tax, I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it, I just wish I had taken the time to read it sooner.

Yeah I really loved reading this. Lots of new stuff from the eras that we never really got that much info from. Love the story of Ed and Chris throwing the amp out of a hotel window, I can't remember the specifics so I'm going to find it now.

Bought it when it came out and never read it. Stupid me says I already know everything about the band plus I'm not a big reader. We just bought a new couch and coffee table so maybe I'll bring it out once they are delivered..

I haven't finished it. I'm at the Binaural era. It's a pretty great book with a lot of great details. I got a used copy on Amazon for 1 penny plus $3.99 shipping.

It is a great book. Never read it cover to cover, but will page through it from time to time. Lots of great nuggets in there.

There are so many cool stories and interviews, I am not a big reader either, but the way it is laid out, with so many pictures and all the albums put in there in chronological order with stories about them, make it flow really well and a fairly easy read.

I don't have a coffee table so I keep it on my night stand and reread it periodically as it is awesome! The making of each album is my favorite as there are so many insights as to what the band was thinking while the rest of us crazed fans only thought we knew what was going on.

Yeah, I read the whole thing. I really enjoyed it a lot! I think the book is WAY better than the movie.

I have read it more than once, and I'm not a reader either. I still flip through it often, finding a random piece of info that I forgot about. It's my favourite book by far.

and yes, way better and more informative than the movie.

I think I've only ever opened it a handful of times and just kinda glanced at a few pictures. I hate reading books.

Never saw the paper back version, but wouldn't that be missing all the pictures

Read the whole thing upon first buying it, but admittedly have not read it in full since then.

Great time reading it! My english level is quite low, so didn't read it in two days, but I thought it was deeper than the movie (I love the movie!). And it flows really well. I want to read it again soon

I have the same one. I take it camping. It's not in perfect shape, but it's been loved and that is fine.

Basically that book is like The Beatles Anthology book on a much, much smaller scale. In fact, the entire PJ20 thing seemed modeled after The Beatles Anthology: Book/Documentary/Rarities Album.
