    My 'Moonshine' just arrived in beautiful condition! Excellent packaging as well.
    Looks like Ames has decided to switch back to quality cardboard tubes with taped on end caps.
    A really awesome poster and in near mint condition, too (the only defect being a thin, light horizontal "scuff mark" line across the center of the poster - not uncommon when flat black ink is used. I'm usually able to very carefully buff a line like that out).
    And, my mini movie lobby card is the German language version.
    All in all, I'm totally stoked! Good work, Ames Bros.!

    Got my whiskey today

    Paper is different than metallic used on the transformers. It's much less shiny, but also seems much less prone to scratches and what not.

    Packaging was superb.

    Yeah, the paper feels almost like a very thin sheet of soft styrofoam. I think it's what Emek uses a lot - he calls it "pearl" something or rather.
    High quality all the way around!

    Got my AP and Moonshine today as well. Very lucky that they weren't destroyed. Was hoping Ames still used the PVC piping tubes because we had some bad afternoon thunderstorms, and my idiot mail carrier simply threw it on my porch instead of taking an extra 2.3 seconds to place it inside my screen door.

    Thankfully nothing was damaged. Love them both so much I plan on keeping them and getting them framed. Btw, got the German bonus print as well.

    I wouldn't advise anyone to break up their set - a very short-sighted thing to do, imo. Best to keep things like this as issued by the artist.
