ha! no. They only managed to play 3 songs off the last album, and that was released in 2014.

We just went last night. I'll start backwards. They were absolutely wonderful! We couldn't have asked for a better performance. They gave it everything that they had and you could tell.

However . . . they sent a comedian out to do a 5 minute bit. (No opener.) He talked about Gene Simmons hating him and while it was kind of entertaining for the first few minutes, it got old quick.

They'll be playing an "especially long set" tonight! :crowd roars: They'll be recording! :crowd roars louder: I did what I never do. I had looked at the setlist sometime last week. I knew what songs were coming and . . . they did not veer from that setlist-- at all. It is a super setlist, but I suppose if someone tells me an "especially long set," I'm thinking a couple of hours are involved. (To note, I didn't expect a PJ length set. Not a lot of people do that.) But again, their show was spectacular, so please don't think that I'm complaining about that. My husband goes to a lot of shows. "A typical show is about an hour, so an hour and 20 minutes worth of actual music is longer than most."

Packard Music Hall is an older venue. No parking fee. That was a pleasant surprise. Typical concert security was done. I'm good with that. Our original seats were next to a very nice, but extremely large guy who just did not fit into the seat real well. He was trying. After the comedian and while waiting the additional hour for the band to come on stage, we decided that we would move to a more spacious portion of the music hall. That was a good move. Turns out, my neighbor followed our lead and I think he watched from a portion of the wall not far from us. We had space to stand, we went to the top so no one would complain about the standing or my dancing. It was all good.

We we happy to go? Absolutely! It was the first family concert and our 12 year old kept thanking us. And yes, we taught her the right way to go about a concert-- you stand the whole time. And . . . she did.

Glad to see you're raising her right :rock_on: ! I was also at the show last night in Warren, Ohio. That was my third time seeing Chains, and, as always, it was another great show. They don't play very long and honestly the setlist hasn't changed much in 3 years, but no complaints from me. I don't follow them around. I must say that William Duvall is great and has the it factor for a frontman. I also must add that the sound last night was amazing. I'm at work now, and I'm very tired.

Glad you had fun! I wish they would play more of the newer songs.

Did they have cameras recording as well?

I was so wired when I got home (45 minute drive and leaving that parking lot was a crazy hot mess) so I didn't fall asleep until somewhere around 2. Caffeine was my friend.

Agree completely about WD. So good that I would just like to hug him because, well, it was awesome.

K was talking to her grandma about the show this morning. "Grandma, it was WONDERFUL!" (Made my heart smile.) "Did you have seats?" "Yes, but we didn't sit. We stood the whole time." "Why did you stand if you had seats?" "Because it is RESPECT to the band, Grandma!" :fist pump, yeah!:

I don't know. I know that they sound checked us for volume. If they did cameras, my guess is that they took pit only. Upper crowd had some bald spots. After the concert started and people realized that security was cool with them standing around the back, a lot of seats emptied.
