  • As someone previously mentioned, I prefer a version where Ed doesn't drop F-bombs, which are tough to find. I always find it distracting for whatever reason.

Does anyone know a version with no cursing AND no crowd sing-along that is from the official bootleg era? (2000-2016)

Nothing beats London ON, July 2013. Opening song, only Canadian date, 110 degreees in that arena. It was magical.

Yup. and I much prefer when the first chorus is sang properly like on the album. He doesn't do it that way much anymore

No way. I often find myself thinking how less intense he sang it back then. Although, I do prefer when they stick to the album style for the first chorus.

have to agree but it's because that is me with the white shirt and the biggish head smack dab in front of EDDIE. What a night! front row center for the very last non-pit PJ show. And for the 974th time, THANKS 10 CLUB.

This one was amazing too. It felt like Eddie let em turn the drums back up like back in the Dave days. We had a blast the night before the show with some local gamehens. Howdy ladies. lol

I second that. Perfect guitar and lyrics. Ed really delivers the 2nd chorus with intensity. Sounds amazing on the boot. Maybe because it comes right after Grievance.

Pretty good version and one of my favorite 96 boots. I think the Berlin version from that year is even better.

yeah, Berlin was excellent. I was at the Charleston show and the guitar effects Mike used back then were closer to the recorded version.
I prefer most of the No Code versions with Jack on the drums too.
